Join us in supporting a good cause during our Summer Connect. We are gathering at Second Harvest Heartland for some summer fun while sorting and packing food for our friends in need. Bring a friend because the more the merrier!

Volunteering will help ensure no child, adult or senior will worry where their next meal came from.

To confirm reserved spots, we need each group member to individually register for your group.  Please sign up in Volunteer Central by 7/9/24.

Step 1:

  1. If you do not have a Second Harvest Heartland account: Visit and click on the “Haven’t Signed Up Yet? Click Here” button to create your volunteer profile and sign the online waiver.
    1. If you do have a Second Harvest Heartland Account: Please log in to your account:
  2. Step 2: 
    1. Once signed into your account, return to this email and click the group link here: MN AMA – TC (American Marketing Association) - Jul 23, 2024 @ 6:00pm  to access the “Join this Group” page. Scroll to the bottom and click on the “Join this Group” button.

Please review our dress code information below:

  • Closed-toe shoes are required.
  • Shirts should cover the shoulders and armpits (no tank tops).
  • All clothing should be appropriate for handling food and not have loose, dangling beads or other articles which can be a physical contaminant.
  • Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty is preferred 
  • We suggest you dress in layers to remain comfortable while working as temperature can fluctuate.
  • No jewelry. When you are in the packing areas, you will be asked to remove all jewelry. Lockers are available on-site to store belongings.
