About AMA’s 2019 Leadership Summit

The AMA National’s Leadership Summit is an annual event that brings together board leaders from all the American Marketing Association professional chapters throughout North America. The purpose of the Summit is to prepare chapter leaders for the upcoming fiscal year as they move into developing their local association’s strategic plans this June. Through educational sessions, workshops, speakers, and informal discussions, this event provides opportunities to share new ideas and solve tough challenges to enable chapter leaders excel to their greatest potential.

Leadership Summit Highlights

Throughout the Leadership Summit weekend our AMA MN Board heard from so many talented marketing leaders who are passionate about elevating the role of marketing by propelling professional and business growth forward. I personally enjoyed learning from Russ Klein, Chief Executive Officer of the AMA, as he presented what’s next for marketing leaders in the 21st Century in brand building including building including how brands are defined by the customer experience + the brand promise and STOP - the new 4 P’s of marketing: Solution, Time, Omni-Channel and Participation.

An Exciting Future Lies Ahead for AMA MN!

As our Board members begin to develop our 2019-2020 strategic plans, we’re excited to leverage our Leadership Summit key takeaways to continue to provide you with exceptional experiences to ensure our AMA MN chapter enables you and our community to connect, learn and grow as marketing leaders.

Sincerely,

Andrea Asleson, President-Elect
