Event Description
Are “craft,” “authenticity” and “artisanal” merely the latest marketing buzzwords, concepts that can be slapped on a brand to plus-up its image? Or are they markers of a much bigger, more enduring social and economic shift driven by new consumer attitudes that are permanently empowered by technology and social media?
Explore why and how some brands, both large and small, have embraced this apparent societal shift, and why some brands are too resistant, too entrenched or simply too confused to respond appropriately. This exciting presentation and discussion will be guided by David Whitman, Managing Director and Partner, Cultivator/Minneapolis; and Chris Beatty, Creative Director and Partner, Cultivator/Denver.
Cultivator is a design, brand storytelling, concept and advertising agency that has focused on craft branding since its inception 15 years ago. The firms clients include New Belgium brewing; Chipotle Mexican Grills; Vail/Beaver Creek resorts; Sun Valley resort; Hope Foods; and the Bob Marley Family line of beverages.
