Twitterview with Gina Soleil

April 30, 2014

We were very happy to host a recent Twitterview # MNMXTV1 with Gina on April 10th , where she discussed the importance of creating an internal brand and specific tips that you can use now to get the ball rolling in your organization.

Gina will also be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Marketing Exchange Conference, “Marketing by the Minute ,” with her presentation, “The Attitude Bar: Now Serving Kool-Aid, Coffee and Cocktails,” on May 8th .

From the Twitterview :

MN AMA Chapter @MNAMA - Welcome everyone to the Twitterview w/ @ginasoleilworld , a keynote speaker for 2014 Marketing Exchange Conference.

In your book you mention that the "....science of energy is the secret to profit". Can u give a real-life example?

Gina Soleil @GinaSoleilWorld - We are all made of energy, and what we put out into this world is the exact reality we create for ourselves. By the leaders changing how they "showed up" to the workplace, making sure their attitude aligned with high-character values, they increased gross profits by 20%!

MN AMA- If you were to describe the qualities of a high-performing culture in three words, what would they be?

Gina Soleil- It takes 5 words. Service Minded, Optimistic, Business Savvy.

MN AMA- You've said corporate zombies exist in the workplace. What can employees do to empower themselves and others?

Gina Soleil- Remember that you have power- period. Stop giving it away to the golden handcuffs, dysfunctional leaders, spreadsheets & the " Joneses ". I get the realities of life, I lived it, but if you want your power back and to be happy you need to name what you want out loud to yourself, and have the courage to step forward- even if that step is only visible to you. When you do this, your confidence increases and people notice. You become an inspiration for others to follow.

Jack Silverman @admanjack - I want to hear more about the "Corporate Zombie Apocalypse!

Gina Soleil- Corporate Zombies, there everywhere! "Corporate Zombies" is how I describe how so many people feel as they live the day-to-day corporate life. 14 hour days, drop off kids, work on spreadsheets & PPT , go to mtgs , pick up kids (or dog) and repeat the next day, etc. People are tired, burnt out, and want to feel good and energized again. And they can! check out www.ginasoleil.com to find out the exact thing a business can do to eliminate the zombie epidemic.

MN AMA- What is the biggest challenge to fostering a high-performing culture?

Gina Soleil- Having leaders admit to the fact that they may be the reason why the culture is not performing at its best. When a culture has leaders strong enough to acknowledge that their own behaviors may be unhealthy to those around them, and have the confidence to go the extra mile to change, there's nothing a business can't accomplish.

MN AMA- What are key steps to overcoming these challenges?

Gina Soleil- Business leaders love DATA. Show #'s that give evidence for what needs to be done to make more $ and they'll do it. The first step is doing the energy assessment www.ginasoleil.com so you can have the data that helps you start the right conversation with the leaders running the business.

Anne Doucot @AnneDoucot - How do you keep the good energy when a person on your team is being negative?

Gina Soleil- You have to learn the beauty of detachment. This is a skill and a choice-it's called energy management. This is what I teach my corporate executive clients and teams. Own only what is yours. This can sound impossible, but it's not only possible its easy. I teach people how to walk through their day without being impacted or phased by the negative energy around them. Read the book Fuel Your Business and check out www.ginasoleil.com.

Anne Doucot - Definitely! It can sometimes be challenging. :) Thank you! Looking forward to checking out your book.

MN AMA- How can you apply your philosophy to client relationships?

Gina Soleil- That's the beauty. This is all about your clients. When a business culture is at its best because people are energetically healthy, clients WANT to work with you! The result of a healthy culture is that it attracts more clients- and the type of client that the business actually WANTS to work with and serve.

MN AMA- Thank you @GinaSoleilWorld for the great Twitterview ! Looking forward to your keynote at 2014 Marketing Exchange Conference on 5/8.

Gina Soleil- Thank you! It was a ton of fun. Looking forward to the 2014 Marketing Exchange Conference on May 8.
