Neil White
Neil joined BBDO Minneapolis in 2008 bringing with him 20 years of international marketing experience. He began his career in South Africa before landing in Canada to serve senior account and strategic planning roles on Adams Confectionery (Trident Gum & Halls Cough Drops), Hershey Canada, Wrigley, United Distillers & Vintners, CanWest Interactive and Mercedes‐Benz.
Neil was appointed President and CEO of BBDO Minneapolis in February 2012. Prior to this he led all agency business for Hormel Foods.
A significant part of Neil’s career has focused on packaged goods, managing the development of integrated communications designed to impact consumers along their path to purchase. Often this involved leading multidisciplinary teams comprised of media agencies, shopper marketing agencies, digital agencies and retail experts to help gain a greater share of stomach for his clients’ brands.
Neil graduated with an MSc Marketing from the University of Leicester (UK) and BComm Economics & Business from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
Neil is passionate about creative, all things digital, life-long learning, trends -particularly on what 2022 will bring, travel, red wine, his wife and two kids (he’s passionate about a lot of things).
