That passion for individual and group development carried through into her professional roles. Over the past 20 years, Kelli has worked inside marketing agencies, corporate marketing departments, and as an independent consultant, always leading with a passion for driving business through strategic development.

Kelli is the VP of Programming for the Minnesota Chapter of the American Marketing Association and enjoys the opportunity to create a broad range of opportunities for Minnesota marketers to collaborate, network, learn, and grow professionally. In addition, the AMA allows Kelli to live out one of her core values of giving back and continue working to support others to achieve and grow.

In addition to her role with the AMA, Kelli is also on the Minority Business Growth Alliance advisory board, where she supports the mission of helping other minority entrepreneurs thrive by providing consulting support and connections to business resources.

Kelli is passionate about supporting and paying it forward with other women and non-dominate cultural groups. In the summer of 2020, after the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Kelli authored an opinion article published in USA Today titled, How to not let your anti-racist passion die: Advice from your one Black friend, as a way of sharing her perspective, directed to white people, as a biracial woman living through the death of another black man that looks like her husband, sons, and other family members.
