Kelli Williams

Kelli is the founder of Williams Brand Consulting, Co-Founder of 40 Acres Investments, a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer for multiple MN-based businesses, a professional speaker, and a dedicated business leader with a passion for personal branding and team development. 

Kelli has been teaching, mentoring, and motivating teams since working as a graduate teaching assistant at Iowa State University in the early 2000s. That passion for individual and group development carried through into her professional roles. Over the past 20 years, Kelli has worked inside marketing agencies, corporate marketing departments, and as an independent consultant, always leading with a passion for driving business through strategic development.

Kelli is the VP of Programming for the Minnesota Chapter of the American Marketing Association and enjoys the opportunity to create a broad range of opportunities for Minnesota marketers to collaborate, network, learn, and grow professionally. In addition, the AMA allows Kelli to live out one of her core values of giving back and continue working to support others to achieve and grow.

In addition to her role with the AMA, Kelli is also a board member with the Greater Twin Cities United Way, and an Advisory Board Member for the Minority Business Growth Alliance. She uses these opportunities to help the Minnesota community thrive. In the summer of 2020, after the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Kelli authored an opinion article published in USA Today titled, How to not let your anti-racist passion die: Advice from your one Black friend, as a way of sharing her perspective. Kelli continues to share her perspectives in her client engagements and board roles while supporting and paying it forward with other women and non-dominate cultural groups.

Kelli is passionate about supporting and paying it forward with other women and non-dominate cultural groups. In the summer of 2020, after the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Kelli authored an opinion article published in USA Today titled, How to not let your anti-racist passion die: Advice from your one Black friend, as a way of sharing her perspective, directed to white people, as a biracial woman living through the death of another black man that looks like her husband, sons, and other family members.
