Dawn is an accomplished ad woman whom you’ve probably never heard of. Throughout her career she has faced a challenging stereotype: not “looking the part of a cool, young (male) ad creative” and often being dismissed. But, rather than pout, she took advantage of the fact that people continually underestimated her and exercised her sharp creative sense to excel in an ever-changing business.   

Dawn brings a wide variety of marketing experience to her new role as Chief Creative Officer at LEVEL Mpls. Her experience includes Minneapolis agencies BBDO, Colle + McVoy, Brew and Campbell Mithun, as well as Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, FL and Boulder, CO.

Dawn’s work includes the origination and execution of the highly-acclaimed “Small Business Saturday” for American Express—which was named #7 in Ad Age’s Top Campaigns of the 21st Century. She also created several memorable national campaigns such as Volkswagen Jetta "Safe Happens," and Burger King “NFL.” Dawn’s extensive client experience includes American Express, Volkswagen, Burger King, Coca Cola, Medica, Hormel Foods, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Skippy peanut butter, General Mills Foods, Old Navy, GAP, Target, Domino’s Pizza, Miller Lite, Alberto Culver, Microsoft, Best Buy, Paddy Power, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN, H&R Block, Klondike bars, Virgin Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and many more.

Dawn’s industry awards include several Cannes Lions, Clios, ANDYs, One Show, D&D Yellow Pencil and the first ever Facebook Blue Studio award. She was a guest on Alex Bogusky’s FearLess live web program where she addressed the topic of women in advertising.
