She joined Periscope from MARC USA, one of the nation’s top privately owned midsize advertising agencies, where she served as president and propelled record growth. Prior to that she led client teams at FCB and Leo Burnett. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate Cari’s intuitive grasp of analytics and passion for knowing what motivates people at every step of their purchase journey, leading to powerful positionings and integrated campaigns for brands like State Farm, Qwest, Payless ShoeSource, Rite Aid, True Value Hardware, Qdoba, GNC and more.

Cari is the kind of leader who brings out the best in her people, and she is dedicated to the idea that culture is key to business transformation. In her time at Periscope she has focused on cultural transformation, talent development and how the two can change a client’s business to attract top leadership talent and drive agency growth. Her belief in positive change also drives her community involvement, such as championing women creative leaders at MARC USA in the creation of KnowNO, a program to educate about sexual consent. She served on the board and executive committee of Make-A-Wish Illinois, where she leads strategic planning, and is also on the board of the Grant Park Music Festival. Cari’s industry and community achievements have been widely recognized, including by DMN’s 40 Under 40 as well as the Chicago Business Journal’s Women of Influence.
