Volunteer Opportunities

January 14, 2018 7:54PM

Advance your professional network by volunteering for one of several AMA Minnesota committees that make events and programming possible! Committees include marketing professionals in the Twin Cities area – from the most seasoned veterans to the newest graduates. Volunteering is the best way to meet new people, gain new skills, improve your resume and mentor others. AMA Minnesota is a volunteer-led chapter and our success is a reflection of the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers.

Check out the volunteer opportunities below. If interested, please email Paula Wright, Director at Large, volunteers at pwright@tunheim.com.

Marcom (Marketing Communications) Committee

The Marcom Committee oversees AMA Minnesota branding and the chapter website. The committee also deploys emails and manages social communications to promote the AMA Minnesota association events to members and non-members. Marketing communications works in tandem with the Programming, Membership, Sponsorship and Collegiate Relations committees to ensure all messages are clear, consistent, accurate, timely and connected.

Programming Committee

The Programming Committee helps conceive and execute well-rounded programming and events that are relevant to our membership and the greater Twin Cities marketing community. Our goal is to offer geographically and topically diverse events of varying length and depth (panels, workshops, roundtables etc.) that cover both educational themes and networking opportunities.

We also have volunteer opportunities with the Sponsorship Committee and Volunteer Engagement Committee.

If you do not see a role of interest but want to get involved, don't hesitate to reach out, as we may be able to find an opportunity to fit your skills and interests.
